Lake Sugema Campgrounds

Will Rogers Downs KOA, Oklahoma
Wife and youngest daughter wanted to head to Oklahoma to visit the Pioneer Woman’s setup. I wanted to visit my uncle Jerry.

Ended up being a pretty large campground, I hear largest one in Oklahoma.

Chris’ parents from Missouri went along with us. Was able to see some horses running around on the nearby racetrack.

And ended up losing some money at the nearby casino…
Elk Rock State Park, Red Rock
Fairly local to us campground, near pretty large lake.

Mutts actually got along with each other pretty well too. 😀

Got some up in the air shots of the smaller campground.

Got some good pics with the drone, especially like the sunset one at just under 400 ft elevation.

Honey Creek State Park
Local area campground, quiet area.

Spent some time with some good friends, The Fox’s and Karey!

Learned how to use the wood fired pizza oven, they were goooood.

And now fully understand the meaning behind “Grilled Ham & Cheese”!

Winterset City Campground
First trip of the year, spent some time with Jim’s parents right next to us.

Got the enjoyment of driving back home in the snow……
Gotta love Iowa, if you don’t like the weather, just wait a few hours, it’ll change.
YellowBanks
We were boring this time, no pics of anything, but a good time was had..
YellowBanks
Some quiet times back in a heavily wooded area. People around here seemed a bit ‘stuck-up’ though. As we were leaving we realized some good friends were at the other end of the park though…
