Ouray & Telluride Colorado

Had a great time driving some very easy but scenic trails. Trail list includes: Ophir Pass/Alta Lakes into Telluride, Imogene Pass back to Ouray. Mineral Creek, Mineral Point, Engineer Pass. and finally Last Dollar Road.

Day 1:
4/10 Ophir Pass/Alta Lakes into Telluride (3 hour, 16 miles)
6/10 Imogene pass back into Ouray (4 hour, 12 miles)

Day 2:
5/10 Mineral Creek (1.5 hour, 7 miles)
5/10 Mineral Point (.5 hour, 1.6 miles)
4/10 Engineer Pass (3 hour, 20 miles)
120 miles highway back to camp

Day 3:
Last Dollar Road (20 miles) to Telluride
Last Dollar Road (20 miles) to Ouray

Colorado Springs KOA / Pikes Peak National Park

This was on our way to Ouray, CO. To split up the drive we ended up going to Pikes Peak
The Fox’s and Worthington’s joined us for this trip as well.
Very easy climb, awesome scenery.
This sure was a nice thing to see.
Spent some time in the summit visitor center.
Not very many places where you can see this far.

Lake Sugema Campgrounds

Had multiple friends/family with us
Spent quite a bit of time outside, rained some and used the canopy.
Chris’ parents joined us for the weekend
Jim’s parents joined us for the weekend too
The Fox’s spent some quality time with us too
Always try to stay patriotic, have to these days…
Rig was lookin’ good
